A single communication was received from the squad that only said “HELP” and then nothing since. The situation on the planet is very hostile, a number of pirate and mercenary groups have established extensive gun running networks all over the system with Eladeen being a hub for many. We don’t have much Intel on the Jaque region other than a very small settlements dots the region and a wealthy arms designer has a home in the region. This arms designer is the only lead we have so you are to meet with him in person, his name is Haydon Matson and he owns a small compound in the center of the region. We have sent word ahead and he has agreed to meet with you. behave yourself on his property, he likely has heavier guns than you do. Getting these marines back is a priority, You are free to act independently but please keep command updated. OBJECTIVES PRIMARY Contact Arms Designer Matson Matson has a small compound in the Jaque region, He has agreed to meet with you and should hopefully have the information you need. In the meantime we will continue scanning for signals. Find and rescue marines Priority objective is the rescue of these lost marines. SECONDARY DO NOT ENGAGE MATSON’S SECURITY Matson employs a sizable security force in the region, do not engage them. You may not take a belt fed MG (M1919 handheld, MG42, ect) if bringing a deployable mortar, box fed support guns like the BAR, FG 42, and Bren Gun are fine. NO GPS, Pilots maybe an exception if you feel you need it. NO NVG, you may take the cosmetic items in the NVG slot though as they do not provide night vision. No digital rangefinders, there are a variety of bino's to choose from. And of course NO MODERN GEAR WHATSOEVER!!! Its World War 2, Immerse yourself. So here is the situation on the front as I understand it. We’ve managed to slow the allies advance with the Siegfried line but there are still minor breakthroughs all along the line. Our focus is here in Aachen where 2 US divisions are attempting to break into the city. You are not here to stop the assault though. Two nights ago during the initial allied attack they managed to encircle and cut off the HQ of Major Hans Muller who is now trapped behind enemy lines. Your mission here is to lead a counter attack to punch a hole and retrieve the Major, his leadership is vital to ensuring the defense of Aachen succeeds. Good luck Herr Lieutenant, Show the allies that we still have steel. OBJECTIVES PRIMARY Lead Counter Attack Before we can get close to Major Muller we must first break through the allied line, you will be given operational lead on the attack so wherever you choose to start the attack from the infantry will follow. Regroup With Major Muller Major Muller is barely holding on, you must regroup with him before the allies are able to get to him. Await Further Orders. Major Muller will provide you with further orders when you regroup. SECONDARY Take Out Allied Mortar Position An Allied mortar position to the north west of Major Muller's position has been keeping them from moving around within the square they hold, taking this out either yourself or by ordering the infantry to do so will take pressure off of Muller Keep The Panzer Grenadiers Alive Keeping the infantry alive will be vital to your success, be smart when ordering them around as they may be your last line of defence. OPTRE ZEUS MOD LIST DO NOT LOAD ANY EXTRA MODS!!! (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1494059145) I am going to be local hosting an off hours OPTRE Zeus event immediately after second main. This will be treated as a standard off hours session. All applicable FK rules apply and will be enforced to the best of my ability. This does include weapon rules to an extent, ask me during the session for clarification. Zeus's will be picked via straw poll. As of right now I have templates on the following maps with the following variations. Standard has a normal spawn area like our servers, ODST is the same as standard but includes a nearby HEV drop pod room that can be reached via Zeus placed teleport pole. Keep in mind that my templates don't work exactly like the FK server templates so some features will not be there like respawn waves and the radio channels. Respawns are set to occur after 5 seconds so please listen to Zeus on how you'll get back into the fight. Now since this is a local host and I don't have the best internet expect network issues. It ran fine with about 10 people so I'm sure it can handle a bit more. Zeus's please don't place an obscene amount of objects, I'd like it all to run as smoothly as possible. We only have enough signal strength to send you this briefing so you will be own your own for the majority of your foreseeable missions. In short, everything is fucked. URF/INS launched a 2 stage offensive. First stage was to attempt to knock out our task force by launching previously hidden ground based Archer missiles at both the UNSC Barrett and our ship. The Barrett was lost with all hands when her reactor was hit. We managed to perform a crash landing in the river northwest of Barcelnova. We have suffered considerable damage but we’re still in this fight and are coordinating efforts. Second stage of their operation was a ground assault on nearly all our major outposts and bases in the region. They have occupied nearly half of the region in just a week and have staged a massive revolt in the capital which is in total chaos right now. For right now we waging a holding campaign waiting for reinforcements from nearby colonies. For the time being you will be operating out of that temporary FOB KILLJOY you have established. Your first task will be to recover a number of crew and other personnel I ordered to abandon ship. Your commanding officer Major Alex Taylor was onboard lifeboat 4. The transponder signal has been narrowed down to the south of the town of Encinitas. Further details are enclosed. You are the best of the best (pfffft), and have been specifically chosen for this operation based on your experience and multiple role capabilities. I. Mission You are Viper Team specialists, codename Venom. You start at your camp on the waters edge of Georgetown bay. NATO have recently arrived in Georgetown with two large ships to resupply. You will use this opportunity to sneak aboard the ship that is not currently docked and ransack it. This will embarrass NATO while they attempt to make a show of force to the locals. A. Enemy Forces NATO forces. Mostly infantry, unless mission goes FUBAR. A large enemy presence is on the docks of Georgetown. Do not alert them. B. Friendly Forces Viper Team specialists, codename VENOM. Equipped with top-range weaponry and equipment, including thermal imaging. Assets are a Taryan scout drone, an SDV submersible and a stolen NATO MH-6 Little Bird. II: Objective You must quietly board the destroyer, and take out as many of the following before extracting: A jet parked in the small hangar The officer on duty, aboard the bridge The cruise missile system stationed at the front of the ship The long range naval artillery battery, also stationed at the front of the ship. All units are equipped with 6+1 magazines minimum.

untilI am looking to do a local host for a WW2 event, it will use a slimmer fk modset with two additions, (the preset can be found here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!At3fen2oXVnzgo8ZvGcUsslQGiqZQg to use it download it and open it with a browser, additionally import it using the Arma 3 launcher.) The idea will be to take the Island below from the Japanese (you being the USMC). You will use landing craft to secure green beach and then pushing up securing key areas of this island, You will have the use of planes, tanks, mechanised vehicles and artillery fire from the ships off the shore. Respawns will be unlimited and once Green Beach is secure respawns and tanks will be able to be spawned there. At Alphas decision they can use landing craft as respawns to attack other beachheads. This will be capped at 32 players plus 2 Zeus', may add three additional slots for ammo runners but we see. If we end up with enough time we will then look at hosting a second mission with another Zues. Tags will be enforced and RSVP will take priority. Server Rules will apply and anyone seen to be deliberately breaking server rules will be kicked from this event and all future local hosts as well as reported (this is mainly said as people act like animals on local hosts). Certain rules like bolt actions will be waved as well its ww2, plus some rules will be added, ie Zues enforced uniform, weapon, ect to stop the people who will take a m16 with eod vest cause they are really funny and cool and i wish i was like them so somebody likes me. If we dont get enough player to run this mission a smaller op is planned on a woodland map, however, dependant upon numbers this mission will be run with either fewer units or if it feels too empty a small number of zues controlled ai to add to the mermaid (immersion). Your more common guardsmen envy the task laid out before you. Two days ago a large Ork horde made planetfall and decimated the defenders in the region. A platoon of guardsmen managed to fall back and establish a strong defense in the city but that has not stopped the Orks from looting and burning the city, They have been constructing fortifications non stop these last two days so we are confident they are preparing to maintain a siege. We won’t give them the chance to dig in any further. You will be approaching from the south, following the path of destruction the Orks took to take the city. A company of Guardsmen have already established a frontline and are engaging the Ork defences, your job here to break the Ork line before they can dig in any more and this becomes a drawn out siege. A series of objectives have been marked on your map south of the city, you must capture at least two of these before pushing into the city. Taking the bastion towers will likely be the deciding factor in securing the territory. OBJECTIVES PRIMARY Await Nuke detonation You must await the nuke being dropped from orbit to detonate before beginning your assault, The nuke should take out the vast majority of the hoard concentrated north of the city. Capture at least 2 frontline objectives 4 objectives south of the city center have been marked, capturing at least 2 will ensure we have a strong frontline to push with. Capture the city center The city center has been split into two objectives, both must be captured and held for mission complete. SECONDARY Capture Bastion Towers A number of Bastion defensive towers were deployed before the Orks overwhelmed the defenders, recapturing these towers will go a long way in ensuring we have control of the territory and will allow air support to move in. Mark captured towers will blue smoke. Rescue pinned down guardsmen A platoon of guardsmen were trapped when the Orks overran the city defensives, they have been able to hold out for 2 days. Relieving them will help in securing the city center. THE ASSETS: Your assets are going to be Santa's favourite combat sleighs which can carry four Santas each. (Sorry, no reindeers included.) This event will function as a standard off hours mission, FK Rules still apply and will be enforced. Zeus will be picked via straw poll at time of event. EVENT SPECIFIC RULES 2IC's will function as radio operators, meaning that he will be the only member of a squad with a long range radio. Exceptions to this would be the platoon lead (even if in a squad) and vehicle commanders. If numbers are too low then SL will carry radio. (recommend using the US SCR-300 RADIO) no short range radios whatsoever. Zeus may specify faction and unit so please take weapons belonging to your faction, if you are special or irregular forces ask Zeus on what equipment you may take. There are a lot of uniforms so try to be specific when calling them out. May take deployable weapons like the M1919 and Lewis Guns instead of a normal AR along with Mortars. NO GPS NO NVG, you may take the cosmetic items in the NVG slot though as they do not provide night vision. No digital rangefinders, there are a variety of bino's to choose from. And of course NO MODERN GEAR WHATSOEVER!!! Its World War 2, Immerse yourself. MAP LIST (will be updated) Below is a list of all the current templates I'v made for use in this event. Whoever zeus's please keep in mind all a few things. All templates are Blufor so you must change faction of players depending on who we're fighting. You are the best of the best (pfffft), and have been specifically chosen for this operation based on your experience and multiple role capabilities. I. Mission You are Viper Team specialists, codename Venom. You start at your camp in Taga. NATO has been assisting local militia in arming themselves, this needs to stop. We have located a militia leader on the fortress ruins by Lijnhaven. You must eliminate him before extracting. A. Enemy Forces Syndikat miltia. AKs and other rudimentary weaponry. No assets known. B. Friendly Forces Viper Team specialists, codename VENOM. Equipped with top-range weaponry and equipment, including thermal imaging. No assets bar an unarmed drone. SLOT RESERVATION: DISCLAIMER - I will actively be playing favourites for the slots of this mission. It will not matter what order people comment in, and tags will not have 100% guarantee + priority. All units are equipped with 6+1 magazines minimum, and the ammo bearers carry extra ammo for standard rifles.

untilSo, given the recent interest shown in this poll, I am deciding to run a couple of Star Wars missions! The missions will be in the style of FK, i.e. with a Zeus or two, platoon, A-F, KNGT etc. The missions will both be based on Altis, as those are the only templates I have created, however I will have both BLUFOR and OPFOR available, so to whoever is the 2nd Zeus, it's up to you whether you want to run as Galactic Republic, Empire, First Order, or anything in between.
