    There is no need to be able to fly (or know anything about RW at all) to take part in this training, but it will allow you to try out more things. This training will talk about the Combined Arms aspect of ArmA 3 from the view of Rotary Wing heavy gunships. Other elements Other heavy gunships Light / medium gunships Transport birds Fixed Wing (only basic) Drones (only basic) FAC / JTAC (irl usage vs usage in ArmA) Prophet (not in their JTAC role) Artillery / mortar Armor (only very basic, as I don't know anything about armor except how to destroy it) Infantry Communications Radio LR / SW channel usage Relaying messages Map markers Visible markers Smoke Flares / chemlights Lasers Landmarks ... System markers / Data Link Command structure Taking part in this training DOES NOT give you any priority during slotting. Regulars do not have any priorty. Anyone can RSVP. We are limiting the RSVP to 8 people but most of the time not everybody who RSVP'ed shows up. Feel free to just be there at the time and you probably will be able to get in. Be sensible, an amount of extreme fuckery (completely unnecessary or unrelated crashes, stupid delays due to not paying attention .etc.) will get you kicked out of the training, possibly even with a ban, and maybe even a ban from further trainings.

    THIS IS A ZEUS MISSION. TAGS ARE ENFORCED. You are United States Marines, tasked with the invasion of northern Altis. You will be beginning you invasion from the USS Freedom with support of naval rocket artillery. You will be inserting via speedboat, with unlimited respawns until you have secured a beachhead. You are to destroy the enemy coastal operations command and seize the strategic airfield north of Abdera so that resupply and Humvees can be airdropped in. Following this, you will proceed to Abdera, eliminate the enemy garrison, capture the communications post at Pyrsos, and finally capture the enemy weapons cache at Galati. There is a possibility of MANPAD in the area. An enemy BM-21 platoon is located in Agios Konstantinos. You will be provided the following assets: 1x Naval Artillery MLRS 1x Cobra Gunship 2x MH-60 Blackhawk The only reservable slot is platoon lead. All other slotting will be conducted at event start.     BE ADVISED, THIS IS A ZEUS MISSION 24th August, 2023, 1600 Hours Current Conditions: Overcast, Rain, Lightning, 5KPH Wind NE. On the 18th of August, Russian Special Forces seized Unalaska Island, the largest island of the Aleutian Islands chain. Shortly afterwards we received a formal declaration of war and started receiving reports of Russian forces crossing our allies' borders into Europe. USPACOM has deployed the 1st Marine Division as a part of the Zulu Contingency, which includes our unit, the 7th Marine Regiment. Our mission is as follows: Invade the region of South Zagoria(Chernarus), gain positive control over the Strategic towns of Solnichniy and Krasnostav, and seize the Airfield at Olsha. Elements of the 1st and 5th Marine Regiments have already secured two beachheads along the coast at Chernogorsk and Berezino. By seizing Solnichniy we will link up these beachheads while friendly forces push deeper inland. There will be Anti-Air emplacements around Vybor, as well as Mortar emplacements throughout the map. The enemy has a great amount of BTR's, BMP's, and T-72s throughout the Region. Use your assets wisely to eliminate them. Removing OPFOR comms posts and QRF bases will delay/hinder the ability of the OPFOR to respond to your assault. Infantry and the armor section will be starting from OP Gunma, Air Assets will be starting from the Air Brigade HQ.
