Background:

France within recent years has been suffering from many political and economic requirements the failure of the governmental system became clear resulting in a Frexit the French exit from the EU and the complete replacement of the government with a more nationalistic group referring to themselves as the repblique united this group wanted the french return to glory and began recolonising weak previous colonies these included French Indonesia, Algeria and Senagal to name a few now with a solid base in the south pacific they have set their eyes on the Horizon Islands and are planning a full scale invasion

 

Objective:

The objective of you as marines is to secure military instillations and the major towns across the north-western most Island of Tuvunaka the Special Forces team from the Dragoons will be split with a sniper unit providing cover for the marine force while the infantry team cripples the Defence forces communications via the destruction of a radio broadcast station and a military  radio tower then they will head to secure an old french military complex and prepare it for our use

Hostile Forces Composition:

Horizon Islands Defence Forces - Tanoan Police (paramilitary)(Cherno police because of mod restrictions) - US military training Company

Armed with cold war US equipment, Soviet cold war equipment and Modern US equipment.

 

ROE: Green – Do not engage any civilian's Tanoa is part of a living breathing country civilians will be present be careful

 

Respawns:

1 x Once Airfield and training facility attached is completely secure.

1 x at Platoons choosing

1x provided at platoons choosing once both radio towers are destroyed

1x when one of either towns is captured

 

Restrictions:

None

Requests:

French Equipment if you want immersion

Success:

Airfield, Towns, Abandoned Base Secured and both towers destroyed

 

Failure:

Failure to gain a foothold on the Island

Platoons falls below 20% strength

Assets:

1x special squad of 8 max and 5 min

1x prophet team Sniper and Spotter

 

Other Info:

If radio towers are not destroyed before 7:30 Enemy QRF's will be dispatched from the Island of Tanoa itself.

PT1 Debrief First Mission was a success low numbers were presented however the mission was adjusted and lots of positive feedback was received
