Roadie
Threat from Above Story: Sahrani has been under the influence of the communist regime of Democratic Republic of Sahrani since the ideology was first embraced on the island in the 20th century. However, the Sahrani Liberation Army, wishing to unite the whole Island under the communist regime, has begun attacking the southern parts of the island, ruled by the opposing Kingdom of Sahrani. As they've pushed more and more south, they've reached the town of Somato and decided to stay put until additional resources from the north arrive. This action triggered the NATO offensive on the mainland from the island of Rahmadi, where the island itself was the foundation of their military presence in the country. NATO forces must successfully retake the town in order to re-establish a firm presence in the southern parts of the mainland. Mission Objective: Capture the town of Somato - NATO Defend the town of Somato - Defending force Map: Any map that has an island from where the transport helicopters would take off and fly over the sea for more epic 'Nam experience [insert Fortunate_Son.mp3 here] Sahrani map would suffice IMO, it is a perfect map for this kind of mission. Mission briefing: I will be using the Sahrani map for example: The mission is seperated in III stages: I: Attacking forces gets into air transport vehicles on the island of Rahmadi (bottom left island) and takeoff. Defending group gets in their positions and await the opponent's arrival. II: Attacking group gets their 'Nam mode on and approaches the mainland. The pilots are to deploy all infantry near the targeted town. They must not approach the town itself as the defenders will have Anti-Air shizzle in their pockets. However, if the attackers eliminate all Anti-Aircraft in the area, the helicopters could be called in for Medevac. III: Attackers will attack the town in whichever manner their leaders choose so. Defenders will defend until they either successfully repel the attackers or face annihilation, or the third option, surrender/escape the town upon facing point of no return in taking back the town. Resources at disposal for both parties: Attackers: X Transport Helicopters + 2 MEDEVAC Helicopters Maximum of two secluded tanks/APC's Defenders: Numerous Anti-Air vehicles Couple of tanks Numerous vehicles Any defensive miscellaneous tbh Hints & kewl tips: Tanks belonging to the attacking forces should be placed near the targeted town, Attackers should land near the tank's location and use them for better chance of winning. (Example: if the targeted town is Somato, tanks should be placed in the nearby town of Chantico) Defenders should barricade all road entrances to the town for extra protection Edited July 7, 2018 by Roadie

Woops, forgot about that part :'D If there are enough people of course it would be PvP,why not? Edit: I reckon the attacking faction would need at least 25-30 people. Defending faction could take the rest, seeing how many players we have sometimes (reaching 70 even) Edited July 6, 2018 by Roadie

Kerry
Since the mission is to re-establish a firm presence, I think it would be good to destroy something like a communication base before seizing the city. So there is no way to call for reinforcements and the mission will be a bit longer and more difficult because just taking the city might be too easy against the Arma AI. At least a defense should be done after securing the city. In case it's TvT maybe throw some house clearing in there.
