Overview
Foot patrols in the region have gathered enough evidence showing a vast increase of smuggled arms and civilian uprising in the region. USCENTCOM has authorized the use of 1 Tank platoon and 1 mechanized infantry platoon to secure the region. Our first presence in the region should be shock and awe to establish a dominant position in the populated valley (AO EB1). Our first operation outside of Camp Branca will utilize the full stopping power of FK COY: it is vital that we show the civilians and insurgents that we have a overwhelming force in the region. You can see it as a PR stunt as USCENTCOM has ordered you to visit both cities with both platoon elements, to show the opposing force we are not frightened. Objective 1: ALL armoured assets will have to pass through both cities inner limits following the blue and purple line.

Earlier INTREPs also show us that the hills surrounding the cities have spotted static AT launchers being used, so our armoured assets are better off defended in the inner city limits than wide out in the open.

Patrols in the area have discovered and seized multiple weapon caches in civilian resident areas. These pictures were taken at a market stall near the mosque (top right of picture) in the city of EB_11.
You will pass through this market stall area on your way back (purple). Hostile contact is expected, as the mosque is expected to be a recruitment facility.

USCENTCOM advises that the risk of the hills is more dangerous than the inner city.
You have a vast amount of infantry available to guard the flanks of the armoured assets when moving through the city.

Objective 2: Establish contact with informant SHEPHERD. He claims to know the location of CAMP GHORAK, a weapons facility and stronghold.
Objective 3 is to destroy CAMP GHORAK.

After the meetup, keep following the route. 

And return to base with a minimum amount of damaged goods, and a confirmation of 1 times destroyed CAMP GHORAK.

We expect civilians both to help us and the insurgents.
Civilians with binoculars, radios or other suspicious gear should be threated as aiding them and are to be approached with care.

IEDs: probable. You have an EOD squad available in case you encounter IEDs.

MISSION SUCCESS

The first covert operation conducted by the Special Operation Group has succeeded.

We have delivered a massive blow to the Taliban forces, destroying a IED factory and a recruitment facility. You have discovered they [REDACTED]

We mourn the loss of Officer @Shroomzeh. OPCOM will do all in his means to return his flight tags to his wife, @Mittens.

MISSION SUCCESS

FK COY has succeeded in restoring a safe MSR between the two outpost bases. With minimal losses, FK COY has freed multiple townships of the iron Taliban grasp.  USCENTCOM will resupply all bases ASAP, so expect no more ammunition restrictions in your next operation outside Camp Branca. The medical vehicle was safely secured at the end objective. USCENTCOM will do its best to ensure a rotary wing asset will be delivered ASAP.

WARNING: USCENTCOM has evidence of civilians KIA due to negligent use of HE frag grenades in civilian areas. Two civilian lives were lost. Luckily we were able to safely convert any witnesses. We won't be so lucky next time.
WARNING: The medical vehicle was unguarded for the entire route between Lolosalam and Spetzyahir. By sheer luck, Taliban patrols in the area were too occupied to notify the unarmed vehicle driving down their territory. We won't, again, be so lucky next time.

Echo Squad is confirmed KIA. Confidential statement is as follows: all Echo Squad members suffocated due to a misfired smoke grenade. All active personnel of Erymanthian Boar II have signed an NDA to redact Echo Squad existence from all records.
