Vent
The Pitcairn Islands are a group of islands in the southern Pacific Ocean that form the last British Overseas Territory in the Pacific. The four primary islands – Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie, and Oeno – are inhabited mostly by descendants of nine Bounty mutineers and the Tahitians (or Polynesians) who accompanied them, an event that has been retold in many books and films. This small section of land is vital to prevent the official sunset of the British Empire. The entire population is Seventh-day Adventist (SDA). A successful Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) mission in the 1890s was important in shaping Pitcairn society. In recent years, the strength of the SDA has increased. First by outlawing dancing, and now by arresting the governor and attacking the local British garrison. From a secret HQ on Oeno, the SDA forces have completely taken over Ducie and are making great progress in taking over Henderson. The local British garrison has held the southern half of Pitcairn. Air reinforcements is limited to the airport outside of Calamar. A brief look at these ADF so-called “ultra-nationalists” is provided by an MI6 operative: 1
Vent
The first step to reinstating a secular government is to locate and rescue the former governor before he can be executed. MI6 operatives indicate that the SDA forces have him in a Prison. There is an airfield nearby, but the AA stationed at the small airfield will need to be destroyed to facilitate and air extraction. First mission was a success! The Governor was safely extracted. There were less SDA forces than would be expected. It appears the pushed too far, too fast to be effective in holding the prison and airfield. They were not prepared for such an effective strike team. Additional details will be forthcoming when additional information is made available from the MI6 operative. Vent
2nd Mission Contact was made with our MI6 agent. There was a very good reason that there weren't as many enemy forces at the airport. They were all preparing for the assault of the British Forces. The SDA forces did not believe the British would be able to respond so quickly. The push into the southern half of Pitcairn to seize Calamar has been building for days, and we expect it soon. Hasty defensive structures are being built just South of Prospero and additional arms are being brought into Calamar from the closest allied base in New Zealand. Dig in boys, this SDA attack will be no picnic.
