Major_Third
So I booted up the old Battlefield 3 campaign, and I started playing the mission "Thunder Run". By far one of my favorites. But also one of the saddest endings to a tank crew, as we see the crew have to fight off waves of attacking enemy while the US Marines' QRF was en route. AND THAT GOT ME THINKING: Has there been a scenario where we have BLUFOR QRF and OPFOR forces racing towards a disabled Knight crew? In my head, we would see the Knight team bunkered down best they can in a disabled (or just engine off M1A1) waiting for BLUFOR rescue, while preparing to fend off any OPFOR forces. BLUFOR QRF would fly in helis to the rescue, but would spawn in an airbase a great distance away, possible even on the other side of the map. OPFOR would start closer to Knight's loaction, but only able to pursue on foot. BLUFOR objective: rescue the Knight crew and get the hell out. OPFOR objective: Kill the knight crew. Thats just a small idea in my head, but hopefully its a do able one. Please tell me what y'all think!
Rorkiy
Moved to the correct section. Keep in mind, the Think Tank Suggestion section is for things that change the way the game gets played. Examples being things like Remove the 4 bandage limit on players who aren't medics Implement a cap on the number of magazines etc. As you're suggesting a mission/scenario, it goes here, in the Mission/Campaigns section that is specifically for Mission Ideas, Campaign Ideas, and ongoing Campaigns. If you want them tracked, but with a working gun, you need to find a tank that doesn't do that. You also don't necessarly have to put all of BLU into helicopters for this to work. Otherwise, not the worstest. Just keep in mind that TvTs are a fucking saltmine.

Yes, I did one last year sometime. PLTHQ & Knight were stuck in a town and a Helibourne QRF had to rescue them from incoming hostiles. It was pretty good, Cyanide pulled off one of the coolest landings I've ever seen. Hooked the rear wheels of a chinook on the lip of a building to let people load up while under fire. Doctadoone
Yup, I did this a while back with a challenger tank. Although I took the inspiration from COD4s "The Bog" instead. Challenger tank pinned down with many russians eager to secure the tank and crew. Made for a good mission.

Silver Snow
Funny thing is, I have been thinking about doing this but we don't have any real suitable maps (that are urban like in the campaign) over than Georgetown on Tanoa. Sarissa
We got plenty of urban areas, just get creative
