Weegie
I can run these either in main missions or in smaller afternoon missions, depending on demand. They will be zeused rather than scripted, as I have next to zero knowledge when it comes to scripting missions. This is an early concept so all feedback/criticism/tips is highly appreciated! This is a series of missions I'm planning out where you guys will be playing as a group of rebels on the island of United Sahrani, aiming to restore the communist state of the Democratic Republic of Sahrani. You control the Northwestern part of United Sahrani, with the overarching objective over the course of many missions being eventual control over the entire map. Mechanics/Structure NOTE: To begin with, this will be hard. You are less equipped than your enemy, who has better assets and more resources than you do. To begin with, your rebel forces will have limited equipment available to you. Over the course of the campaign, you will be able to secure strategic sites such as weapons and vehicle depots, which will provide access to better gear and assets. Another mechanic that I plan to try out in these missions, and may scrap if it doesn't work well, is popular support. Certain actions will lead to an increase or decrease in support from the civilian population (e.g., excessive civilian deaths will lower it, and securing propaganda stations/freeing political prisoners will increase it). The level of popular support your cause has will affect certain factors in the missions (strength of enemy forces, civilian cooperation, etc). If the level of popular support drops too low, this may trigger certain consequences that will remain a secret for now. I may also include certain "events" that may occur depending on the success or failure of the rebellion. A lot of the missions will be fairly open ended, where I will place down several objectives and the platoon leader can decide to do as many or as few as they wish, depending on what they feel is strategically viable. Others will be set objectives that may have a critical impact on the "story" of the campaign. Rough Outline of friendly (Blue) and occupied (Red) territory: Loadouts (Green = Upgrade from last mission) Rifles: Wooden AK variants (AKM, AK74) (Russian scopes up to 4x) Autorifleman: PKM LAT: RPG-26 Anti-Air: Igla (One squad only) Uniform: M88 (SLA) Vest: [PO]6B23 Olive (6Sh92) Helmet: [PO]6B27M (Black) Radios: FADAK, MR3000 Asset Tracker (Green = Captured last mission, Red = Lost last mission) 12x Ural-4320 (was 15x) 5x Armored GAZ 1x Salvaged BTR-60PB 1x BTR-70 (was 3x) 3x BMP-1 1x T-90 (Currently unavailable for 1 missions) 1x AH-6 Little Bird (Minigun + Rockets) (destroyed) 1x M113 APC 5x Land Rover (Mounted M2) 1x T-72 1x Schilka Popular Support: Receptive Edited May 25, 2017 by Weegie

Weegie
MAIN MISSIONS Mission 1: Rebellion Stirs... There are 5 available objectives this mission: Secure the Propaganda Station - This will increase support for the rebellion, is lightly defended. Destroy the Radio Tower - Will limit the enemy's ability to effectively reinforce Capture Weapons Depot - This will give access to better weapons and equipment in future missions Capture Vehicle Depot - This will provide assets for future missions (10x BTR-70, 5x BMP-1, 2x T90, 1x ZSU) Take the town of Eponia - Will increase area controlled by rebels Reinforcements may come from the south-east and from the RACS FOB, this will be largely prevented by the destruction of the radio tower. MISSION DEBRIEF One Propaganda Station has been secured, your popularity with the civilian population has increased. One enemy radio tower has been destroyed, the comms ability of the RACS forces in the North of Sahrani has been weakened. One enemy vehicle depot has been secured, 7x BTR-70, 2x BMP-1, 1x ZSU and 1x T90 were destroyed. 3x BTR-70, 3x BMP-1, 1x T90 were successfully captured. One enemy weapons depot has been secured, you now have access to Russian scopes (up to 4x), and better vests and helmets. The enemy has evacuated the town of Eponia, and it has been secured by rebel forces. The area of rebel control has been expanded. 1x BTR-60PB was destroyed by the enemy. MISSION 2: FULL FRONTAL ASSAULT Coming soon - lacking intel. SIDE MISSIONS SIDE MISSION 1: PRESSING THE ADVANTAGE After the unprecedented success in securing Eponia, as well as strategic targets in the North-West of Sahrani, the rebellion turns its eyes eastwards. The Royal Army Corps of Sahrani has been put on high alert after the dramatic losses suffered to the rebels. To allow for making easier inroads to the east, it is vital that the RACS FOB stationed over the mountains to the East of Eponia is captured. At the same time, our Scouts have sent reports of an intelligence base nearby which may hold vital intelligence that may prove decisive at a later date. A force has been dispatched in the night to investigate the intel station, and secure the FOB... Briefing: All of the armoured assets secured in the last mission were damaged in explosions at the vehicle depot, and have been sent for repairs and as such are unavailable for this mission. 1x T-90 that was secured was heavily damaged, and will not be available for 3 missions. 1x BTR-60PB is still operational. This operation will be taking place at night. You have no access to night vision at this time, but the enemy will. You will be operating with flashlights. Plan accordingly. The enemy forces have begun full mobilisation and media sources around the world are reporting the outbreak of civil war in United Sahrani. Expect the enemy to be ready to respond to any contact with an airborne QRF. You must capture the FOB to ensure the security of our Eastern Front. If the FOB remains uncaptured, the enemy will be able to land forces in the North-East of Sahrani. There is an enemy intel station in the mountains. Secure it, and find the intel within. Debrief: Despite heavy casualties, both the intel station and the FOB were secured 1x AH-6 Littlebird (Minigun + Rockets) was captured 1x M113 APC was captured 2x Land Rover with mounted M2 was captured. We have acquired some Igla launchers - enough to supply one squad during a mission Side Mission 2: The Hunt Intelligence stolen in the last mission revealed that one of our high ranking officers has been leaking information to the RACS, and is about to be extracted deep into enemy territory. This man carries too much information about our operations to be left alive. From his last known movements, we have tracked down four possible locations for him to be hiding. Sweep through the towns, find the traitor and send him to hell. Briefing: Sweep through the towns, capture them and find the informant. 1 hour 40 minutes before helicopter arrives to extract the informant Avoid alerting enemies in Bagango - the city is well defended Anti-Air may be present on the airstrip at Pita. DEBRIEF: The informant was found and killed at the airfield in the town of Pita. 1x T-72 and 1x Schilka, 3x Landrover with M2 were captured from the enemy. The town of Pita remains in enemy hands as the order was given to withdraw due to heavy casualties. 3x Ural-4320, 1x AH-6 Littlebird and 2x BTR-70 were lost/destroyed. Casualty rates were extremely high on the rebel side, we may need time to recover our strength before carrying out any large scale operations. Although this mission was a success, the sheer scale of the losses suffered in this operation is of great concern. If future missions continue to be so costly, belief in the ability of the rebellion to succeed may be begin to waver. SIDE MISSION 3: CLEANING UP Briefing: After suffering high casualties in Pita, high command has decided to limit the scale of our operations for the time being. However it is important to preserve the momentum of the rebellion, and as such a forward element has been sent to deal with suspected enemy activity in the towns of Carmen, Pacamac and Tlaloc. Eliminate any enemy presence in the marked areas, report all signs of enemy movement and activity and extract any intel you may be able to find. Eliminate enemy presence at markers Report enemy movements Extract Intellegence where possible. Edited May 25, 2017 by Weegie
Sarissa
When do you normally run these chap? I'm game to be a lowly, underdog fighting the Sky Soldiers while wearing black pajamas with hand-me-down AKs
Weegie
I ran the first one on Sunday night at main missions, I'll probably try and do a couple every week, with a mix of small afternoon missions and also main missions (if people like it enough to justify it). Just whenever I have a mission planned and people are up for it really!

Weegie
1 hour ago, Vizel said: @Weegie: Next time when you add the mission-specific uniform requirements could you please post the Arsenal loadout using the <> Code forum thingy (since judging by the screenshots you already did most of the work)? Just a basic rifleman pastebin and the individual slots could branch out from there would be super helpful. Cheers! Sure thing, I'll look into doing this for the next one. Thanks for the suggestion. BonSie
I believe we captured 2 T-72 at one point, although I don't know if we lost one during the mission. One did get damaged.
Silberjojo
@BonSie After the mission @Weegie said, that we captured one and te other one got destroyed, because there were still enemy forces and we ended it kind of early
