This training is for those who already have an understanding of flying and are looking to learn how to be a good gunship pilot/WSO in FK. If you do not know how to fly you will not be taught here but please look out for rotary wing basic flight training sessions on the calendar.
This training will happen with groups of two (one pilot + one gunner), please state your preference when RSVPing so i can match people up beforehand.
The birds we will mostly focus on will be the AH-1Z Viper, AH-64D Apache and Mi-24 Hind. I recommend you familiarise yourself with these helicopters and their weapons before coming to the event.

- Duties as crew and the differences between specific crew slots
- Strike theory and practical
- Risk management
- Sensors and systems
- ACE Hellfires
- Communications
- Combat maneuvers
Training is open to all but regs+ get priority. Those who are just going for crew chief tags are free to sign up, but be aware we expect you to still be able to fly a helicopter.
If the RSVP is full and you are a regular put your name below and you will have priority if someone drops out. The flight training room will be open to join for those who just want to listen in.
This will be held on the second server.
