Topics covered in this training will include:
- Basic maneuvers
- Basic Take-offs and landings
- Flight speed and altitude management
- Basic communication and command hierarchy
- Emergency procedures theory
RSVP Regulars have priority, FNG's may be able to join if there are not enough Regs+.
It's planned to last less than 1.5 hours (90 minutes). If stuff is getting in the way (or the attendees want to train a specific part more in depth) it will last longer.
Please make sure you are at least somewhat familiar with the mouse / keyboard (or joystick) layout of flying a helicopter. (What makes you go up what makes you go down etc...) This is a good example for somebody who has no idea where to start and how to bind their keybinds. This is obviously just a suggestion! Find a setup that is comfortable for you!
Taking part in this training DOES NOT give you any priority during slotting.
We are limiting the RSVP to 8 people but most of the time not everybody who RSVP'ed shows up. Feel free to just be there at the time and you probably will be able to get in. (This includes FNGs ... just be there on time and most likely we can still include you in the training)
