Any time slot gunner would be great.

I've had a first gunner eval a few weeks ago but still haven't got confirmation as to whether it was valid due to a lack of enemies in that mission.
Don't know whether I'm eligible here.

Do you guys read? I've written - "Pick specific slot"

Your first gunner eval is passed, so this one should be final or you can do it on the main mission.

My preferred slot is Timeslot 5 for driver but I am free all weekend so if you need to change it to something else let me know.

You can't jump over the ranks, you need to go Driver -> Gunner -> Commander.
