TTT is a very nice gamemode that helped me find lots of interesting people and create friendships that still last, so I decided to host a game of TTT.
What is TTT? Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT) is a gamemode included with Garry's Mod. The game is about a group of "terrorists" who have traitors among them, out to kill everyone who's not a traitor.
A small number of players is selected as Traitors, who have to kill all the Innocent players (ie. the rest of the players). Those innocents know they are in the majority, but they do not know who is Traitor and who is not.The Traitors must use the element of surprise and their special equipment, if they are to succeed. The Innocent just have to survive, which means finding out who the Traitors are and killing them before they kill you. Of course everyone is holding a big gun, and everyone looks suspicious...
For the Innocent, knowledge is power: who is acting strangely? Who can be linked to evidence found on corpses? Who is still alive, even?
Rules are simple: don't RDM, no monitoring (for example - telling info via Steam messaging) follow the general FK rules, and if I'll remember any other rules - I will run over them when everyone hops in.
I hope that we get at least 8 or 9 people, otherwise I don't think it will be much fun. It might last a bit longer or less that the planned time, but we will see.
I will be personally hosting this game via peer-to-peer, to get on the server you'll need a copy of Garry's Mod, obviously, and Counter Strike: Source to not have any problems with the map or missing textures. There will be no addons running on the server, but if I'll set a map that you don't have loaded it won't be much of a problem - it'll download automatically. To get on the server you'll need a copy of Garry's Mod, obviously, and Counter Strike: Source to not have any problems with the map or missing textures.
Not gonna restrict only regulars on joining, everyone is welcome, and I'll set maximum number to 16 people, otherwise I think it will be a mess. If you have any question - feel free to ask.
