DO NOT RESERVE A SLOT AND FORGET TO SHOW UP. FAILURE TO SHOW UP WITHOUT A VALID EXCUSE WILL BAN YOU FROM MY FUTURE TRAINING SESSIONS.

This is the first step to getting medical tags. This is not an evaluation, it is a training.

This event is open to everyone. First come, first served. If the slots are full you can leave a comment and I'll poke you on TS if there are any no-shows.

This training will consist of two one-hour segments:

Classroom/Discussion:

  • Activating and using the Ace Medical Menu
  • What being a Medic means
  • What 'Advanced Medical' means
  • The uses of the Medical Equipment
  • Triage procedures
  • Treatment order
  • Loadouts for different roles
  • This is the time to ask clarifying questions

Hands on Application:

  • One hour of dedicated practice time to apply what you have learned in the classroom. I will throw everything at you from bullet wounds, to fragmentation grenades, to being crushed and getting hit with an IED. I will watch you as you go and provide you with advice and corrections as necessary.

I do not anticipate finishing early, however, in the event that we do finish early, we will discuss how to get an evaluation, urban myths about ACE Medical, as well as any other topic or question that comes up.

This will take place on Server 2. Have your game loaded and be in the Medic training room on time. 10 minutes after the posted start time will be considered late and you will not be able to attend.

If there happens to be room, I'd like to join as a refresher, its been a while since the last training, and though I still know most of it, I could do with a bit of refresher training

Considering I was banned and completely forgot that this was happening until my notification just now went off, I hop this will not affect my ability from attending later on. I have unrsvpd now, hoping someone else will choose to attend. Sorry for not clearing the spot the second I was banned.

This training was purely fantastic! For the first hour or so, we went through the "school part" where we got to learn the theory of which aid goes on which wound. And after learning about this it was time for some practical application.
The start of the practical application was pretty much "2 shots in the feet, 2 shots in the chest. Fix em up". This was straight enough and we got to use most of the stuff Ace Medical has to throw at us.

Next up was grenades. The grenades were, of course, more demanding, but we were able to stay on top of it and keep each other alive.

After there the real fun started. We were told to group up in groups of around 6, and we all understood what was coming next. It was time for 1medic on 6 victims. But this was a great exercise for evaluating which victims that needed the crucial aid.
After we were done doing most of these exercises we were told that we were done, and were asked to all gather at one spot, and we all followed command and were happy because we wouldnt get slaughtered with more grenades.. BUT BOYY we couldn't be more wrong.

What happened next is that a jihadist runs into the middle of our group and explodes. Some people started patching up the hurt people, while some people started organizing some defensive positioning. And it was real good that defence was set up, because we came under heavy fire from all angles. But we managed to fight and heal our way out of that situation too. Barely.

After that happening it seemed we were actually done! We bunched up by the medic-statue and received some warm words from our trainer. He told us that we were better than expected and that he liked what he saw. But the glorious moment was quickly destroyed when someone yelled "Shoot Zeus!" and people did as commanded and we got smited while watching the "Mission Complete"-screen.

All in all the best experience I've had in the community so far :)!

Thanks to @Spartan_MiniMe for being a great teacher!

No problem. I took note of that when the ban got handed down.
