This is a first attempt/trial at running some smaller scale, more serious ops that I've wanted to try for a while . Feedback/Criticism is welcomed, and if it goes well I will try and do more in the future. This event will take place on the second server, during main-mission time. The plan is to run 2 in a night concurrently, but this session will be 1 mission as it is a trial run.
This event is strictly Regulars+. If you are not a regular, please do not RSVP as you will not be considered for a slot in the mission. Slots that require tags may be reserved by tag holders first. EDIT: as the RSVP is now full, I will allow all slots to be claimed to save time slotting up. Tags still take priority. If RSVP list is full, comment and you will be added as a reserve in case of no-shows on a first-comment-first serve basis.
Operation Sherlock
SITREP
CTRG Group 17, based on the Tanoan Mainland has been tasked with an off-the-books mission to eliminate a top-level Syndikat commander working with CSAT entrenched somewhere within Balavu Island. All towns on the island are believed to be well guarded and the exact location of the commander is unknown at this time. Fortunately, we believe we have a man on the inside. We have an informant embedded within the Syndikat ranks in the town of Balavu. Upon inserting by boat and assaulting the town, the informant will present himself to you with the phrase "Elementary, my Dear Watson.". He should be able to identify the commander's location to you. We expect civilian activity across the entire island, and although we prefer to avoid civilian casualties, there must be no loose ends. It is imperative that this mission flies under the radar due to the tensions between NATO and CSAT.
