This training is aimed at people who have an idea how a helicopter works and it's role.

Also it is advised that you should watch https://youtu.be/Kjwz5qRDhV4 before the training, as how to set up your controls will not be covered.

Topics covered in this training will include:

  • Basic Take-offs and landings
  • Flight speed management
  • Flight theory
  • Basic Formation Flight
  • Emergency Procedures Theory

RSVP Regulars have priority, FNG's may be able to join if there are not enough Regs+

@Oirien @cineafx will be running this lesson.

Dslyexi is using quite an unusual hardware to fly. Track-IR, rudder-pedals, you name it.

Should I obtain and use exactly same hardware before training or I can use whatever hardware I already have and just make a comfortable to me control scheme?

You can use whatever fits your style. Everyone can use what they want.

@Cyico you are more than welcome to use your preferred method of flying!

Myself, Oirien and Cineafx all use keyboard and mouse with the addtion of trackir. Its not essential to have additional hardware but can help.

I got the full Dslyecxi setup. But if you look back a few month I did mouse, keyboard, trackir ... and a year more only mouse and keyboard. So in the end it's more like an addition ...

None of this hardware will never make a shit pilot any better ... but it will help you develop additional skills and will help you with using priory unused / unknown potential!

As cin and mittens have stated, no additional equipment is necessary.  You can use any system you want to fly, hell you can program a bunch of bananas and an arduino to fly for all I care.
