This will be a zeus mission for 1st main on FK#1 utilizing the standard modset and default template in a series of armoured vehicle only missions. All players will be playing tank or vehicle crews. Slotting will be amended accordingly. 

 

+++ SITUATION +++

Border skirmishes between Nato and Russia have recently escalated in Finland, more specifically Sumava. Germany has sent parts of the 1st Panzerdivision, formerly staitoned on Lithuania, to Sumava to support local and American forces. A hole in the russian defence has allowed the allied forces to make a large incursion into Russian controlled territory, with the enemy being unable to react properly to the speed with which the Leopards have been able to exploit the enemy's weakness. The supporting ground infantry units have taken casualties however. As such only an American Airmobile regiment is available to take the town of Velke. You will be tasked with securing the airfield and enabling American helicopters to deploy units near Velke and to support their subsquent assault on the town.

+++ BRIEFING +++

Your Armoured Company has closed the distance to the enemy airfiled to within 2Km. You are to plan and execute an assault on the Airfield to take control of it. Without this, an airborne assault on Velke is impossible. Furthermore you are to move North to establish control of the southern outskirts of Velke to enable the Americans to land near it and take the town. 

We expect the enemy to defend the Airfield vigorously. However, due to the speed of the allied advance, we do not believe them to be ready and entrenched. As such, you are to make best speed towards the Airfield to catch the enemies offguard and defeat them. 
Furthermore foot patrols have been spotted around the locales of Orel and Lapka (marked "?"). On the airfileld itself expect MBTs, IFVs, Infantry, Helicopters and Anti-Air Vehicles.

Once the airfield is secure, you need to move North to Velke. We have little intel on the area in between. Move with care but as quickly as possible to start laying fire onto the defenses at the town of Velke. They will be entrenched and in position. Expect heavy resistance from both defenders and incoming reinforcements from the North and West. Once sufficiently suppressed and destroyed, call for XROADS to send in the Americans. Your mission will be complete, once a adequate amount of friendly infantry has entered and secured the town of Velke.

1. Take Control of the Airfield.
2. Destroy all enemy assets on the Airfield.
3. Move North the Velke and engage and destroy all enemy forces on the way.
4. Rout enemy forces from Velke by engaging and suppressing their positions on the southern outskirts of the town.

Based on numbers we will fill certain vehicles first. See their priority below. If all Open slots are filled, the still closed slots will be opened as well:

  2. 4th tank in 1st platoon (29 people)
  3. 4th tank in 2nd platoon (33 people)

  6. 2nd Coy Cmd Tank (38 people)
     
  7. 1st AA Vic (40 people)

  10. Loaders in all remaining tanks distributed evenly across all elements (54 people)

Any "in betweens" are to be filled by loaders with medic status in the CMD tanks (HMR 6-1, 1-1 and 2-1) [i.e.: we get 32 people playing, meaning all vehicles from stage 1 to 5 get "activated", providing slots for 31 players. The remaining player will then take a loader slot in Coy Cmd Tank].

 

+++ Notes +++

  1. The Company Commander (Hammer 6-1) will command the two Platoons and their supporting elements.
  2. The Platoonleaders are expected to command the tanks under them to ensure the elements act cohesively and information is relayed between them.
  3. The Specialists will be driving a RRR-Truck each. They will also be medics. 
  4. The Leopards have Loader slots. They will be filled by overflow and have to assign medical status at the statue. Those loaders will act as medics as well.
  5. Loaders in Cmd tanks are expected to take off comms pressure if able.

  • GPS Tracking will be enabled on vehicles
  • Units are to be adressed by their respective callsigns
  • Respawns at Zeus discretion, Coy Cmd can ask for reinforcements
