++MISSION BRIEFING++
Welcome to Hotel Nui Dat gentlemen,
The 6RAR has been instructed to defend this location.
At night we receive mortar fire, we shell them to hell and back, then confirm kills in the morning. Recently their mortars have gone quiet, in addition to this, radio chatter has indicated we're expecting a massive assault on the base.
Your job will be to hold your posts, possibly confirm a few kills, go on a patrol and report back to see a live performance from Little Pattie herself.
To complete this, 3 troop has allowed use of their m113's with mounted M2's, I warn you though, they will not be happy defending the base if their vehicles get destroyed, it will also make the job a lot harder. If they make my life a living hell, I'll make sure your life is one too.
If on your patrol you encounter heavy resistance, the base can offer some support tissues in the form of 105mm HE shells from our base howitzers, please make good use of these gentlemen, we do have a lot of shells lying around I want to get rid off, I'm tired of having them under my bed.

MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with the main story being taken from the Vietnam War, with some artistic liberties taken. The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 Prairie Fire DLC and a custom Modset which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list. Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Vietnam/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme and structure of operations in the Vietnam War.

The M113's are not mission critical assests but they are tied directly to how hard the 2nd part of this mission will be, I'm allowing for 4 (numbers depending) if 2 are lost then there will be consequences.
- The M113's are ran by the squads, you have to get permission from HQ for them to leave the base, I will be LR'ing a moment that X roads believes is a good time for them to leave.
- You'll have access to artillery from the base in the form of 2 M101 105mm, these will be called into X roads and the men at base (me, ai, co zeus) will respond.
- PLTN HQ will only be permitted if a specific number of players is reached.
- This is my first event-zeus mission, so any feedback you believe would help improve, if that could go to my discord dm's that'd be appreciated.
- This mission is taken from history with a twist, so if you know the battle, please don't spoil it for those who don't.

- I am not limiting the amount of grenades the grenadier can take but please be reasonable, 50 is not reasonable. (The 22mm is very effective for what you will be fighting).
