Our guerrilla attacks against the imperialist invaders have been successful. In the last month alone we have shot down 2 American helicopters and caught small puppet forces patrols in numerous ambushes. From our mountaintop position we are hurting the enemy badly. However we may soon need to relocate. One of our scouts has reported that a column of American soldiers is on their way towards our position. They must not have confirmed our precise location yet, otherwise their arrival would be heralded with artillery and bombs. We need your platoon to ambush and stall the Americans while the Battalion disperses into the countryside. We have too much equipment bound for our brothers in Saigon to be left behind, you must hold until it is secured.
This is likely to be an incredibly difficult battle, the Americans will respond with air power and fire support if they feel overwhelmed.

MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Vietnam War. The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 Unsung mod which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Vietnam/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme and structure of operations in the Vietnam War.

4. Night vision equipment is prohibited.

6. Looting of enemy primary weapons is restricted, looting of enemy supplies is permitted. Should resupply not be available, emergency procurement of enemy weapons is permitted.
