- Following the deployment of ODSTs to the Barcelonova area, Insurrectionist activity has picked up in the Northern Continent, Virolahti. This area is less colonised than the other parts of Madrigal, and appears to be where the majority of Insurrectionist supplies are flowing from. -

- The 4th Battalion, 17th Army Corps "Springboks" are hereby deployed and ordered to interdict Insurrectionist supply routes and material production on the northern continent to support other UNSC operations. -

Operation SERPENT is the beginning of a new campaign on Madrigal. Your platoon is being Airlifted into LZ ADDER. Strike Objectives VIPER and COBRA, two Insurrectionist strongholds. While there, obtain any intel which will further your overall objective of pacifying the northern continent.

MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the fictional world of Halo. The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 mod Operation: TREBUCHET which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Halo universe based weaponry and will be restricted to per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure will remain the same for this mission.
