This is an unofficial training, approved by @cineafx. It will not count towards fixed wing tags or give you any priority during slotting
This training event is part one of a two part training event, in which I'll be going over Fixed Wing essentials, takeoff and landing, weapons deployment, self protect measures, as well as command structure and comms.
In this part of the training I'll be covering the following:
Equipment
What to plan on the ground
How to adjust your plan when situation changes
Taxiing & Take-off
Take-off with small prop planes
Take-off from the carrier
Fuel management
Landing
Landing on small runways
Landing on the carrier
Landing with small prop planes
Things I will not be going over in depth include:
VTOLs
The standalone F/A-18 Systems
As you can see, this part of the training is aimed at somebody who hasn't flown a fixed wing aircraft before or wants to refresh his memories. Everything else will be covered in part 2.
Those, who show up to this event will be getting priority for the second part of the event, hosted at a later date.
Link to the second event:
(will be here when date is set)
Notes: RSVPs will be open only to Regulars+. If you are an FNG who would like to attend, leave a comment and show up when the event starts.
I will keep the RSVP limit at 4 slots, however if there's more people interested in this training, leave a comment. More slots may be opened. ( Just be there at the start of the event).
The Event itself is open end mainly because of questions you may have. Expect it to take 1:30 to 2 hours.
Be sensible, an extreme amount of fuckery (not listening, interrupting, constantly meming around in a disrupting way) will lead to a ban from this training event, depending on the situation, from other training events in the future.
