  • There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:

    • Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
    • Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
    • Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.

    If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

    AGGRESSIVE  RECONNAISSANCE

    It's been 8 months since Acklay Brigade was forced to withdraw from Arcadia. Since then, we've been trained and honed into a finely organised Commando unit.
    We go anywhere and do anything. Sabotage, raids, infiltrations, assaults and assassinations. Whatever it is Rebel Intelligence needs, we get it done.
    There's been rumours circulating that the Empire is building a new type of weapon. Agents have been dispatched in all directions to locate what they can. There's a prisoner somewhere, codenamed "SAPPHIRE", that Intelligence seem to think has value to this story about the weapon. The only trouble is, they don't know where she is. That's where we come in.
    There's a small imperial garrison on Tattooine. It's not really important, it's more of a small logistical hub to refuel and resupply ships when they are in orbit. But it does have a prisoner transfer station and access to the Imperial Prison records. Some of the prisoners currently held there are sympathisers to our cause; or so we assume. Either way, it's a good cover to launch a raid on the base. 
    Your orders are to assault the base, free the prisoners and grab information from the Command Centre located at the top of the fortress. If you can, plant charges around the place too; cause some mayhem.
    Acklay has been paired with Midnight Squadron and is currently stationed on the converted carrier Apliana's Promise. She was privately purchased after the Clone Wars and converted into a cargo hauler. We've converted her back into a light carrier - hopefully she can slip into Tattooine's atmosphere with her old transport credentials intact before the Imps know what's happening.

    This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Star Wars universe The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 mods 3AS (Beta Test), JLTS, Improved Melee System and others which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Star Wars and Era based weaponry as well as some supplementary options and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure may be changed to accommodate the theme.

    MILITIA SQUADS start with limited equipment and are heavily encouraged to loot hostile bodies & equipment. You're supposed to be farmers and workmen starting a revolt. The above rule applies for enemy vehicles. They may be looted but will not be Zeus repaired in any way, you have no logistical element. Only Weapons and equipment from the following mods may be used in this mission. Legion Base 3AS 212th JLTS 91st 327th JMSLLTE LFP All weapons , uniforms, vests, helmets and other equipment from the 501st mod -  are prohibited, unless specifically named in the gear list. One squad deployable energy shield (Under Grenades) is permitted per squad. Two personal energy shields (Under Grenades) or hand held riot shields are permitted per squad. Rifleman mag size limit raised to 60 rounds per magazine. Standard Scope Limit raised to 5x times magnification. Medics may take 3x Bacta Tanks from LFP for instant revive of injured soldiers regardless of wounds.  Bacta Bandages may be taken as a replacement for Elastic Bandages with a significant increase to wound coverage with a similar wound reopening time. Star Wars Medical items aside from those mentioned in rules 8# and 9# may not be taken. Multi-shot grenade launcher ammunition is prohibited for all units. MAT Magazine limit due to PLX Launcher mag Size being 3 rockets per mag is reduced to 2 magazines or 6 rockets in total. Thermal Scopes in the DMR role are permissible.  --RESTRICTIONS--

    The improved Melee system can be configured by esc > options > controls > configure addons > WebKnight's Melee. Primary Weapons with an attached bayonet can be used to bayonet enemies by use of the improved Melee system Buttstock Hit/Bayonet Charge ability. To assist with some of the equipment and to take into account the settings tone Third Person will be allowed for use in these missions.  Those streaming or inclined to listen should be aware that music from the Star Wars universe will be played throughout the mission.
