   ++MISSION BRIEFING++
   11 days ago a 5-man C.I.A. team was sent out on a mission to retrieve a HVT from a Viet Cong outpost deep in the western jungles of Cam Lao Nam.
   The C.I.A. helicopter transporting our operatives was shot down with an additional scout helicopter that was looking for survivors.
   A SOG squad was sent out and got ambushed but prevailed. They we're able to destroy the AA emplacements and find the C.I.A. operatives and pilots KIA.
    
   Intel suggests the HVT was moved to the island Phu Quoc just east to the Maxwell Field island.
   Both these islands have previously been deserted for a long time but we suspect the NVA are using these as a staging area for their operations in the area.
   
    
   HVT has defected from his previous "employers" and is considered in CRITICAL danger.
   It is CRUCIAL the HVT is captured ALIVE and transported out of the country. 
   Exfil of HVT will be done on the Maxwell Field by plane so the island must be secured.
    
   Insertion will happen on sea, support will be limited as this is an covert op but we have a Hornet that will be your eyes in the sky.

   MISSION SUMMARY: This will be a heavily themed mission with elements taken from the Vietnam War, with some artistic liberties taken. The mission will be making use of the Arma 3 Prairie Fire DLC and a custom Modset which will be posted as well at the bottom of this event page in a compiled list.  Weaponry within the mission will be restricted to Vietnam/Faction based weaponry and will be restricted per your chosen role. Tags for applicable roles are being enforced and will not be different from standard slotting. Squad Structure and PTLN structure have been changed to accommodate the theme.

   April is the month of the SCP so hoping we can get a game together before new GOTM happens!
    
   Planning to do some sessions this saturday on the 29th aprox 15-30 min after main end time.
   If people can RSVP please so we can get an accurate reading of numbers.

   FK SCP Guidelines
   SCP on FK is meant to take the form of lite-Roleplay. Therefore, your objective should not be to “win” the game, but to create the most fun shared experience with other players. If you are a MTF member you should be always trying to enter the facility to regain control, not camping the surface. If you are chaos insurgency, you should be earnestly trying to rescue the D-class personnel. Do not RDM D-Class at the beginning of the round as a Guard or Scientist. Your first objective should be to detain them and escort them out of the facility. Only once you have reasonable suspicion that they are armed, or they are not cooperating should you shoot on sight. Do not metagame. This can be subjective, but you should not do things such as: while playing as SCP-939, constantly attacking while running around to hit people you would otherwise not be able to see. Other examples include camping the surface zone in the extraction area. If staff see a player engaging in inappropriate metagaming behavior, they will be warned and if they continue they will be removed from the server.
