There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:
- Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
- Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
- Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.
If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

Its time for another open CM Q&A. If you have any open questions, concerns or anything you wanna bring up with staff or discuss about this is the place to be.
Next Saturday we will take over a lounge and try to provide a chill atmosphere for discussion and questions. All topics are welcome but dont expect answers for everything. Some things just cant be answered straight off the bat and need some consideration from all of staff.
Feel free to drop an RSVP if you are trying to join in so we can see how many people we can expect. Obviously we are also open for anyone that is gonna hop on spontaneously.
Start time is set and we will be there for questions for as long as we can. Max runtime will be until the CM meeting. If we run out of stuff to talk about before that we might just end it ahead of time.

Map Rosche BLUFOR
The premise of this mission is that a platoon of infantry are needing to retreat from a superior enemy force attacking from the North.
An air element is going to take flight to cover their withdraw. But the catch is that the air units can only see their own markers while the ground units can't seen any markers at all. (If I find a good way to do this ... else no BFT for anyone!)
Air will need to find the infantry, follow them and support their push south.
TLDR: BLUFOR infantry retreats south while air units provide recon and cover for them.
Info about the mission:
The goal is to retreat south(west) towards the airfield, the air units are starting from. The start locations are unknown / hidden. You got 105 minutes after mission start until the last person has to reach the airfield. It's evening and will become dark if the mission runs too long. A free respawn wave will be given after making it halfway. Further respawn have to be negotiated with crossroads. You got 5 minutes after the TP pole is placed down until it is removed. Everybody not thought the pole has to wait until a respawn wave. Info for ground units:

There is a flight ceiling of 1000 m ASL for fixed wing and 500 m ASL for rotary wing. (If exceeded and caught enemy might bring Air superiority fighters. AAA is mainly expected in the far north of the map. Assets will get a total of 2 points usable for rearm or respawn. Endless gun resupply is negotiable if you are dry on everything else. Refuel and repairs are free at base. Loadouts are fixed and not negotiable. One can request a viewdistance of up to 8 km. Full datalink will be enabled between all air vehicles. No NVGs for RW. Actually ... if it gets too bad tell me I don't care for your loadout as long as all people from the same type (RW or FW) wear the same uniform, vest, backpack and helmet colour. The Angels might have to fly in resupply crates.

How it works:
All roles of the carrier are taken up by players. This includes all deck crew (Aircraft handlers, Catapult Officers, ATC and so forth) as well as Jet Pilots, Heli pilots and a Seal Team. Any player taking a Deck Crew role must have an understanding of all the different roles of deck crew as well as how a carrier works. This will mainly be an aerial assault, though the Nimitz is support by 1x Arleigh-Burke Class Destroyer as well as 1x Virginia Class Sub, So if you don't like air and naval combat, or crewing a carrier, this mission is not for you. More will be explained in briefing.
BRIEFING:
The Russian Federation are developing a foothold on the island of Altis, with a full on naval assault. They plan to develop a main naval base before moving North to secure the airport and old military base. We need to stop this expansion before it is too much to handle. We believe they have 2x Admiral Grigorovich class Destroyers that need to be destroyed before even attempting an aerial assault. We also have intel that they are trying to set up a Long Range SAM System, codename 'Rhea'. It should take them 20-30 minutes to set up, so we need to prevent the forces from setting this up. They have 1-2 Supply Ships to transport Vehicles onto land. We need to destroy this to prevent reinforcements from hitting land. They do have some motorized infantry on land, but we do not believe them to have any land-based mobile Anti-Air system. We are still unsure of any FW threats in the immediate AO, but we expect some RW assets. We sent the USS Howard and the USS Indiana about 2 hours ago so they should be close to the Naval Base by now.
OBJECTIVES:
1) Destroy the 2 Russian Destroyers
2) Prevent the 'Rhea' SAM System from being deployed
3) (Optional) Prevent Russian forces from capturing the old military base and the airfield.
