  • There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:

    • Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
    • Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
    • Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.

If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

    Overview
This training is aimed at people who are new to the FK. Doesn't matter if you're brand new to Arma or you have 500 hours under your belt but no experience with the mods we use.
    Topics that will be covered:
How to join and make sure you can successfully join our servers What happens in the FNG and Off-hours rooms Slotting procedure and what happens in the spawn area ACE Arsenal - how to get yourself equipment you'll need ACE Interactions ACE Medical - Basic rifleman first aid Short Range Radio LAT introduction and overpressure BLUFOR vs OPFOR assets static showcase (if time allows) Rangefinding and working with map (if time allows) I also have two loadouts prepared for you, one for BLUFOR, one for OPFOR. They're meant as basic templates you can fall back to, change uniform and be ready to play.
The idea is that you will be able to go straight into a mission after the training and play as a rifleman.
This training does not earn you any tags or direct progress towards a Regular rank. But it will teach you how to play with us and therefore indirectly leads to both.
    How to join
Please RSVP here and be at "General Training" room on TS at given time. We will be conducting this training on server 2.
Time in the calendar should be automatically adjusted to your own timezone, but just to make sure, this training will start at 1730 CEST - 2.5 hours before the main mission. Expect roughly 2 hours of time taken, the extra 20 minutes are there in case of delays and technical issues.
You're expected to have the mods from our modset downloaded via Steam. Also please install the TFAR plugin for your TeamSpeak, if you have any issues with it, come 10 minutes earlier so we can sort it out.
    Current modset is here:
The best way of making sure you have exactly what you need is to click that "PRESET FILE" link, open your Arma 3 launcher, go to MODS section and import the file - it will auto-subscribe mods you need, start downloading them and create Mod Preset for FK. Then even if you're playing elsewhere and have hundreds of other mods you'll load only the correct ones.
IP and password will be given to you before we join the server.
    Mandatory reading
Rules on how to conduct yourself in an FK Arma mission:
    Recommended reading
Most of what will be covered - still best to try it our yourself.
Recommended bindings and ACE settings - we will cover these during the training as well. This is contained up there ↑ too.
TFAR guide - will be covered to some extent, contains list of of radios for each faction
Roles Index - who does what under ideal circumstances
Weapons Guide - What you can take and when.

    What this event even is?
This event is aimed at the people who want more in-depth missions and not just rushing objectives every time. The idea behind these ops relies on extensive squad coordination, good reconnaissance, and fast-paced attack phase.
The AI response in these missions will also be more realistic and reinforcement won't be just a new portion of meat to the meatgrinder. Same goes for enemy assets.
Feel free to contact me directly to ask questions about the event format.
    Mission Restrictions:
The maximum amount of slots in the mission - 24. (which allows having 2 squads, 2 air or 1 ground asset) A certain amount of slots will be announced with the mission as well as reservable slots. Weapons, Attachments and other gear restrictions are pre-determined by the Pastebin/public loadouts (in case of Zeus mission) or mission itself (for scripted missions). "BLUFOR" tracker is disabled by default. Slotting procedure:
To request a slot in the mission leave a comment to the event. After that, the roster will be made according to status (Vet/Reg/FNG) and how early slot had been requested. After reaching the limit people who didn't get into the roster will be put into the reserve list. If people from the main roster won't turn up - they will be replaced by the people from reserve according to the order of the requests. Roles are non-reservable unless specified by the mission in the event description. Standard FK slotting procedure is used. Event rules:
All rules on this event are standard FK ones, except for one additional rule:
     Mission "Last Resort" [07/03/19]
Available slots: [9 out of 20]
    Mission briefing:
The film crew of the ANN was captured hostage in the western part of Takistan. The rebels demand a lot of money as ransom and threaten to execute hostages if their demands are not met. The 1st Recon platoon of US Forces is entrusted with the task of finding and freeing the hostages.

Aerial reconnaissance showed that the hostages can be located in the settlement of Chaman. The situation is complicated by the fact that the terrorists are very nervous and have accumulated a decent amount of equipment and forces (mainly technicals and BTR's) in the area and can get rid of the hostages if they realize that they are under attack by the US Army. To avoid this, your platoon will be dressed in the camouflage of a rival rebel group, which should confuse the enemy command and buy us some time.
Aerial reconnaissance also found that in the neighboring village of Shukurkalay there is a warehouse of weapons and supplies. The command recommends a distracting strike by part of the forces in order to pull part of the enemy troops from the city of Chaman, hold enemy reinforcements and ensure the success of the rescue operation.
After the hostages are released, the platoon must break fire contact and retreat to the south, where the helicopters will arrive for evacuation from the AO.
