There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:
- Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
- Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
- Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.
If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

THIS IS AN EVENT USING THE NEW/CURRENT MAIN FK (NOVEMBER) MODPACK, RUNNING ON FK3. IT WILL TAKE THE PLACE OF AN OFFICIAL FIRST MAIN.
Welcome to the Levant, gentlemen. The year is 1191 and war is ongoing between the Saracens and the Knights Templar. You will fight against one another in a fierce battle in which the Templars attempt a castle siege.

This will be a scripted TvT, and a very much more "lighthearted" mission. Originally made by SovietPolarBear (creator of the infamous "Pub Drift") for UO, and given to me (Tomo) to port to FK. A "LOL" mission (instead of CO or TVT) is their designation for a meme mission.
There are essentially no guns, and most fights will be done via the blade (axe). Blufor has to siege the castle - using battering rams (M113s) against the gates, and siege towers (BTRs with ladders) to scale the walls.
I could write out a lot more from the briefing but honestly half the fun IMO is reading the hilariously excellent briefing script written ingame. Please read it when the time comes, especially the last section which explains how the melee system works.
Be warned that there are maximum 63 slots, with most slots being on the Blufor (Templar) side. We will likely play more than once, as each round will be shorter than our usual mains and we can try out each side hopefully.
Do also note that:
a) Because our modset has urban rappelling the Opfor defenders can theoretically descend the castle walls to engage outside. Be warned they cannot go very far due to AO limiting scripts. They will probably also just get run over by battering rams.
b) TFAR is being weird with the mission and sometimes gives radios in your uniforms. Do not use them if you get one.
BLUFOR GEAR and ROLES:
HQ: Crusader Commander, Combat Monk, 2x Battering Ram Operators, 2x Siege Tower Operators
Alpha/Bravo/Charlie/Delta: Crusader Leader, 7x Crusader, 1x Crossbowman
GEAR: No radios, guns or much of anything besides your armour and holy beliefs. (Crossbowmen get Kar98 with limited ammo)
OPFOR GEAR and ROLES:
HQ: Saracen Commander
Alpha: Saracen Leader, 14x Saracen
Bravo: Archer Leader, 4x Archer
GEAR: No radios, guns or much of anything besides your turbans and copy of the Quran. (Archers get 3x incendiary grenades)
Note, none of these slots are reservable. Nothing could prepare you for this madness anyway.
