There are 3 possible events you can create. Here they are and explained how:
- Mission Planner: The mission planner is for Main Missions. You have to follow this guide line for the requirements. These events also need approval by CMs.
- Training Planner: The Training Planner is for Training events. If you are running a Training use this calendar.
- Community Events: This is for games other than Arma 3 or special events in Arma 3 which take place during off hours. This includes reserving the server for you and your friends to play together.
If you do something on the Training Planner or the Community Events Calendar, it is preferred that you either take the 2nd Server or make sure nothing else is running at the same time.

Initial intel
Malden has been held by a Russian ultranationalist paramilitary for years now. This has been ignored by NATO and the general public due to malden not being a island of great importance. Regarding the threat of imminent war with China however NATO members have have agreed to send a preliminary scout force to assess the hostile presence on the island and strike targets of opportunity in an attempt to destabilize the paramilitary presence on the island as our undercover operative has reported in that the locals are in no way sympathetic to the situation and are awaiting for a call-to-arms. This island might be the most important mission in recent history as it serves as an excellent staging ground for a full scale invasion for both sides.
As stated your primary objective is to assess and mark down hostile strong-points, convoy movements and to find as well as extract the infiltrator with any and all intel he may or may not have gathered during the course of his stay (the infiltrator will only acknowledge and confirm his identity to the squad leader and after giving up the information he will become a part of your team). Extra intel may be found on officers and/or in certain areas.
Infiltration will be by 2x minisub from a US submarine which will change location every 10 minutes. This offers a large freedom for Joker squad to choose their disembark location as well as landing zone on the island. A range of equipment will be available for you once you reach your LZ hidden in a nearby crate. Should your presence on the island be confirmed by the paramilitary the U-boat will go dark and you will have to either have to hold out until an alternate exfil becomes available or get off the island on your own.
Overlord(X-Roads) has a high-altitude thermal surveillance drone in the area and may offer assistance should it be required however LR communications should be kept to a minimum as the paramilitary might intercept the traffic.
Lastly, there are unconfirmed reports of the Russian federation having carried out a similar operation. Should any contact occur with the Russian spetsnaz team, hostilities between the two teams are heavily discouraged. You are free however to try and contact the Russian team and inquire information and request or provide any assistance if required.
Any additional information shall be provided to the squad lead and 2ic in the briefing and information is strictly kept on a need to know basis.

Briefing
Operation: Iron Venture
Despite a NATO lead operation a few years ago, the Region of Lingor has been returned to the control of the Russian Military Forces. While the local populace has remained, it has been noted through surveillance that it is dwindling. Informants placed by The Agency have confirmed that while some of the population have left the region due to the control, many are being forcefully removed via the Military Leadership. Additionally many of the rightful government have been imprisoned without legal due process as a way of legitimising the occupation via an installed puppet government.
President John Haddock has ordered action against this affront to democracy.
Lieutenant General Sarissa Turner has ordered a deployment of Special Warfare Group, Third Brigade and 160th SOAR to assault the region, staging out of FOB Justin in the city of Calamar. LTG Sarissa has drawn up a list of operational aims to allow us to push the Russian backed forces out of the region, ensure local stability and independence. In addition, The Agency has requested extraction of one of their informants during this deployment.
Due to the nature of wanting to return the region to it's rightful government and citizens, President John Haddock and LTG Sarissa have ordered that collateral damage be kept to a minimum. Thunder and Star elements must be given direct fire missions on hostile targets confirmed via LOS. Demo missions must only be carried out on military targets and civilian casualties kept to an absolute minimum. If sufficient concern is raised, RoE allow for any detention of military aged males for safety.
For the purposes of this operation, "Overlord" element will operate out of the C-2 Bird.
Due to the blitzkrieg nature of the re-taking of Lingor, the information we have on enemy forces comes from on the ground Agency assets. They have observed and reported a number of BTR-60PB and BTR-70 APCs, T-72B and T-80B Tanks and in the terms of air assets - MI-24 Gunships and MI-8 Transports, both armed and unarmed. Observations from the Assets have also noted a number of immobile ZU Emplacements around Maruko city, as well as a number of Ural mounted ZU Trucks moving around the AO. Reports of static emplacements such as KORDs and DShKMs have also been logged.
Primary Objectives (RED)
Romeo - Secure the prison complex and surrounding area. Successfully extract all remaining members of the rightful government and any aides.
Sierra - Secure the Broadcast Area and Research lab. Prevent destruction at all costs.
Tango - Clear and Secure the city of Maruko. Destory the FOB at Maruko Airport and all assets within.
